About this site
Hi, and welcome to my little blog ๐
My name is Jannis Fedoruk-Betschki, and I am a university drop-out, who accidentally ended up as a web developer.
Accidentally? Huh?
Yeah, pretty much. In 2020, I started a new job at a start-up. My task was to build up a customer service team from the ground. Easier said than done, right?
All of a sudden, we had hundreds of customers โ but not enough for it to pay of to hire more people. So, I sat down one evening and started a Udemy course on web development.
Fast-forward 3 years, and I start my first "real developer job" at a small development agency in Northern Germany.
Apart from this full-time job, I am also using my skills to run a Ghost CMS hosting service called Magic Pages.
On this little blog I am sharing about my entrepreneurial journey as a developer, some little side facts from my life, and wellโฆanything I really feel like. It's my little corner of the internet โ away from algorithms and likes.
Welcome! If you want to read about how I turned down a job at Apple, you're in for a treat:
